Who we are

Welcome to the Adamah Art Campus at Bethel Horizons

Adamah is a fine arts education center located on 550 beautiful acres in the Driftless region of Southern Wisconsin. We are adjacent to Governor Dodge State park and a few short miles from art galleries, farmers markets, the American Players Theater and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin.

We offer exceptional art workshops with an emphasis in ceramics.

Our art campus includes our main, fully equipped, spacious studio, an open-air summer studio, our two chamber Anagama wood kiln and our new Art Ventures Retreat Center with lodging and a dining hall. We offer a complete ceramic studio with wheels, equipment for hand- building, tools, a glazing room, a Bailey gas kiln and several electric kilns.

The Adamah Studio also offers diverse workshops in other mediums such as glass, painting, papermaking and printmaking. We offer week-long and weekend workshops as well as evening classes throughout the year.

Whether you are a beginner or a professional, we have workshops to fit your interest and skill level. Learn through instructor demonstrations or independent studio time. Come for a day, a week or a workshop. Come for a personal retreat of self-discovery! Share your ideas and meet other artists, walk the beautiful trails and visit the local attractions.

Adamah is a secular center for creativity with a focus on the ceramic arts. It is generously supported by Bethel Horizons, a Lutheran community that describes itself as offering "A setting dominated by nature designed to encourage greater understanding of ourselves & others." (quote from website,  Bethel Horizons)
