Lorin Willey’s ARtrekPainting Adventure “The Plein AirWay”

Join international award-winning artist Lorin Willey in bringing his newest ARtrek Painting Adventure to the Adamah Clay Studios this September!

This outdoor workshop is designed to bring the artist closer to understanding and incorporating the methods of plein air painting into their routine of studying, working, and bringing the ever-changing light and moods of the beautiful Wisconsin landscape into their studios. This course will focus on compositional structure, values, and the nature of light.

Lorin is a master at what he calls the “big toolbox” of techniques in bringing those elements of nature to life with oil and brush. His plein air method has evolved over a period of 35 years of working in the field. He is also a natural “coach” and has been teaching artists what he has coined the “3-Cs” of creativity, craftsmanship, and clarity of intent; the corner stones of art, since 1991.
