Two-Day Workshop
Teapot Making
Join us for a creative weekend exploring the beauty and balance of the teapot! Over two days, you’ll dive into the process of designing and building a functional teapot from start to finish — learning how to throw or handbuild body forms, craft lids and spouts that pour smoothly, and add handles that feel just right in your hand.
Through demonstrations, guided instruction, and plenty of studio time, you’ll discover how to bring together form and function in a way that reflects your own artistic voice. We’ll also talk about proportion, surface design, and what makes a truly successful teapot — one that pours well and delights the eye.
All clay and basic tools are provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own favorites. Bisque firing is included; glazing and final firing options will be discussed during the workshop. Come spend a weekend at Adamah surrounded by creativity, conversation, and clay!
